Reepham Society meetings (last updated 17/09/2009 )

The Society normally holds  8 public meetings a year in February through November. They occur on the second Tuesday of the month. Most are at the Town Hall and open to non-members - who will be encouraged to join!

The remaining meetings in 2009 are all in the Town Hall and all start at 7.45 pm instead of 8 as last year.  Programme as follows.

 

SEPTEMBER 8 

The Marjorie Gibbs Rose Bowl for the best Floral Display was presented to Leslie Tooley for the flowers at the Reepham Hair Studio

OCTOBER 13 The Norfolk Broads, Past Present and Future, John Davies, Tourism Information Officer

NOVEMBER 10 Edwardian Cromer - the Development of the Seaside Resort, Clive Wilkins-Jones

Non Members are most welcome to meetings but will be asked to pay £1 for admission or become members.

MARCH 9 East Anglian Wines Talk and a little tasting by Tom Jarret of Shawgate Vineyard, Suffolk

APRIL 13 Airfields of Norfolk & their History Stephen Pope (The AGM will precede this at 7.30 pm)

MAY 11 The Sainsbury Centre Nicola Johnson

JUNE 8 The Work of a Coroner Bill Knowles (retired Coroner)

SEPTEMBER 14 Landscapes Tim O'Riordan

OCTOBER 12 The Latest Archaeological Digs in Norfolk (including Reepham Bones update)David Adams

NOVEMBER 9 The Great Migration from Norflok to New England 1585-1667 Clive Wilkins-Jones
