From December 8th, the new Reepham Gallery will be open to visitors, in the Bircham Centre.
The Gallery is the latest brainchild of Jill Phipps, the organiser of the popular Annual Festival of Arts and Crafts held at the Old Brewery House Hotel, and no mean artist herself; Jill’s ceramic sculptures of wildlife are bestsellers, and she paints too!
Jill and four other local artists have set up a gallery, thanks to the Trustees of the Bircham Centre, and plan to invite other local artists to exhibit, be they young students or established practitioners.
The five artists blend contemporary style with traditional and modern techniques; from etching to encaustic wax painting, pen and ink to soldered fabrics.
